
GrandMaster Nam An

Grandmaster An, a 9th Degree Black Belt, was born in Chung Nam, Korea on November 12, 1947. He began his martial art training under Master Park of Chung Nam. In 1959 he moved to Inchon where he studied under another Master Park for the next 10 years. His Career in Tae Kwon Do spans more than 49 years and he continually strives for improvement in himself and his students. His skills and insight have made him one of the foremost tournament directors and teachers of martial arts in the United States. Through his expert training, some of Master An's students have developed skills that enable them to compete in tournaments at both the State and National Levels. Grandmaster An seeks to make Tae Kwon Do a priceless investment in a better life for everyone.
Together with his wife, Master Kyung B. An, they bring countless years of experience in TaeKwonDo technique, tradition and philosophy to the student. As masters who have engaged in such martial arts as Tae Kwon Do, Hap Ki Do, Tang Soo Do, Kickboxing, Judo, Karate and have trained the Special Forces and the Green Berets in hand to hand combat in Korea, they continually endeavor to train the pupil. They are internationally known and respected for their outstanding physical and teaching abilities. Their skills have been recognized by the World Tae Kwon Do Federation at the 1988 Olympic Games. They are both international referees as well as world famous masters and instructors. Their son Richard was ranked National Champion for three consecutive years (1989-1991). Masters Nam and Kyung An continually strive for improvement in the school's charity events, as well as directed programs and demonstrations for the local communities. They have trained over 2000 students in the New England Area. "Our dream is to have the world's best martial arts outdoor training course for all martial arts schools."

1972-1974 - Achieved rank of Master, teaching Tae Kwon Do in Inchun, Korea. Helped develop Korean Tae Kwon Do Association

Master Kyung Bok An
Master Kyung Bok An started TaeKwonDo at 12 years old. She currently is a 6th degree Black Belt and has over 30 years of experience. She is recognized as one of the best international instructors, masters and referees in the world. She has competed in various Women's competitions in Korea. She was a head instructor in hand-to-hand combat for the Korean Green Beret Special Forces. She has successfully helped develop TKD promotion internationally, through various events and competitions. She shares Grandmaster An's dream and continually strives to accomplish it.
